"You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord."
Some of the ways demons enter people's bodies or transfer from one to another are through tattoos, body cuttings and piercings. Demons know that every time one of God's principals and statutes are broken the they can gain access to one's life, leading a person into, what it seems like, a never-ending road of destruction, pain, agony and torment among other things.
